Free* regulatory help for Local Government
To sate the bleeding obvious: regulation in Local Government is a tough job.
Any person with half a brain would cringe at the enormity of the task: not just the scale and breath, but the complexity as well. On any given day, Local Government can be called upon to respond to pollution from a construction site, an abandoned vehicle, a dog attack, an overgrown block of land, development being undertaken without consent, poor hygiene practices at a tattoo shop, and parking issues (just to name some). As if that was not challenging enough, Local Government is continually being asked to do more with less resources.
In recognition of the critically important role that Local Government plays in regulation, and to help ease the resource burden associated, JS Regulatory Services is offering its services to one selected Local Government in NSW… for free*!
That’s right: zero, zilch, nada, zip, nothing!
What is being offered?JS Regulatory Services will assist the selected Local Government in combating an identified regulatory challenge by developing an integrated intervention program using the regulatory problem solving process. This will be developed at no cost to the sucessful nominee, and includes all travel expenses.
Who can nominate for this?Any Local Government entity or group of Local Government entities (eg. ROC, JO, voluntary group, etc) within New South Wales.
How can I nominate for this?Nominations closed at 5:00pm on 11 April 2024. The assessment of the nominations received is currently being undertaken.
